The firm was founded in it's current form in 1997 by Chris Coetzee and Johan Ströh. They have been partners since then.

Chris started his articles at attorneys at Phalaborwa after being a state prosecutor in Johannesburg. He has been actively involved at Ströh Coetzee Inc as shareholder & director since 1995.

Johan Ströh

Johan gained extensive experience in the appeal court during his early years based in Bloemfontein. Mergers, acquisitions and other commercial matters also form part of his practice experience. He has acted as director with Ströh Coetzee Inc. since 1997 and focusses mainly on developments & conveyancing.

Tati Makgoka

Admitted Attorney & Acting Judge
Tati acts as attorney concerned with all litigation at Ströh Coetzee Inc. and also gives training at the Law School of SA. He furthermore serves on the board of directors of Thito Business Investments (Pty) Ltd and has been appointed as acting judge in Pretoria.

Pieter Wolmarans

Pieter started his articles in 1987 and was admitted as an attorney in 1990. He worked as a professional assistant in all legal fields until 1992. He established his own firm in 1992 and specialised in civil commercial matters, divorces, liquidations, rehabilitations and later qualified as a conveyancer in 1995 and worked as a conveyancer ever since. Pieter joined Stroh Coetzee in 2006 and handles bond registrations, transfers and matters related there to.

Esthie Naumann

Admitted attorney & Conveyancer

Esthie was admitted as an attorney in 2003 and shortly thereafter as Conveyancer in 2004. Specialising in conveyancing, she recently joined Stroh Coetzee Incorporated and heads the Middelburg branch's bond registration department. Previously, she gained valuable experience in the fields of litigation, third party claims, deceased estates, divorces and related family matters.

Martie Ruthven

After graduating in 2001 Martie completed her articles and was admitted as an attorney in 2004. Further experience was gained at Legal Wise, Witbank Branch, as a claims legal adviser. During March 2006 she took up the challenge as professional assistant and joined Stroh Coetzee Inc. operating between the Middelburg and Witbank offices. Her responsibility comprises all litigation, debt collection and commercial matters in the firm and also acts as head of the Litigation Department. Her strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills are evident in her day to day handling of matters.

Christo Geldenhuys

Litgation Attorney
Christo completed his articles at Middelburg in 2007 and was admitted as an attorney shortly thereafter. He is head of the litigation department at Middelburg and is currently dealing with all relevant litigation matters.

Elzet Combrink

Elzet completed her articles in 2005 and was admitted as an attorney shortly thereafter. She worked as a PA in Nelspruit from March 2005 to the beginning of 2007. She recently joined Stroh Coetzee Inc and manages the Nelspruit office.
